This Saturday morning from scratch class is hosted by Harrah’s Casino and the Magnolia House by Kelly English (James Beard Award semifinalist and Best New Chef named by Food & Wine Magazine). English is one of the best-known chefs in the USA and his Restaurant Iris and The Second Line, both in Memphis, have created quite a stir. Chef Joshua Mitchell is the man in charge at the Magnolia House day to day operations, selected and trained by English, and he is going to wow you with a menu “rich in flavors from Southern-Louisiana,” all taken from the Magnolia House menu. Come prepared for a hands on class and then enjoy a Kelly English inspired meal.
